I didn't like these quite as much as the Practice cards for Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning, simply because there are not many questions per card. Perhaps cards are not the best way of presenting Non-Verbal questions?

I have found these very useful for my tutored students as a last-minute, fun, revision session a few days before they took their entrance exams. We were able to focus on the areas they find most difficult. The children really enjoyed using the cards.

I used these for last-minute revision with my tutored students. The children told me which aspects of Verbal Reasoning they found most difficult and we worked through lots of examples together, which gave them lots of confidence in preparation for their entrance exams.

Helps alot, my child needed help in breaking down comprehension questions.

The papers where very good and helpful. I will get them again for my son when he is due the sats!

Like all papers and the multiple papers per subject gave my child something to competie with as he wanted to beat his scores from his previous papers. ] Only constructive feedback is that there were lots to read in the Reading Test papers. My child felt this was more than what was expected at the SATs or other practice papers he had taken. I explained that could be the case, as it was meant to challenge him. Hope you can have some secondary school practice papers in the future.

Superb resource! All 3 areas of the tests thoroughly challenging and beautifully presented. I recommend these books to anyone involved in KS2 SATS.

A brilliant revision guide very to to date with the curriculum

A very good up to date revision guide

The pack was beautifully presented. But one of the reading papers(about diabetes) was really upsetting and my boy hasn't touched them since.

Excellent book, full of challenging questions - they got more complex as they went from 1-20 which gave the children chance to have some success on each page before they felt it got more difficult. If there was a second book then I’d definitely buy that too!

Maths papers - very good. Both arithmetic and reasoning papers are challenging and contain good coverage. SPaG papers - very good. Very realistic. Reading papers - poor. Questions are not worded 'SATs-style' and so many techniques taught to the children to answer questions cannot be applied to the ExamNinja papers. For example, govt papers often use 'According to the text,' as a question starter for literal/retrieval questions. More similarities to the official papers would be useful here.

My son found these a little more tricky than the ‘other’ practice papers. The same subjects are covered but the questions are in a slightly different style which really tested whether he knew the subject. Some holes were identified.

I like this book. its cover all areas. Questions are good. we got web support. if we get SAT style hot questions it will help us more.
